BROADCHURCH star Sarah Parish has revealed a £3,500 non-surgical face lift has helped boost her career.

The actress, 48, has been undergoing a Ultherapy treatment over the last few months to help her look younger in front of the camera, and is over the moon with the results.

The treatment used ultra-sound to help redefine the face, and the star has revealed it’s even banished her “jowls”.

“I had treatment four months ago, and it’s still working now,” she told the Daily Mail.

“The difference I feel in my skin is incredible; there’s definitely a tightening feeling and I’ve lost those little jowls that I had before.

“The texture and quality of my skin feels completely different and we’re only four months in so it’s just going to keep getting better and better.”

Sarah admitted she chose to try the treatment after noticing it had become hard to light her in certain areas due to her “losing laxity in her skin” and becoming “jowly”.

The non-invasive treatment didn’t involve the “scary” needles and she insisted the difference is noticeable already.

The treatment doesn’t require general anaesthetic, and Sarah underwent the 75-minute procedure at London’s Cosmetic Skin Clinic.

Meanwhile, it comes after the star revealed her marriage almost fell apart after the death of her baby girl in a brave and open chat.

The 48-year-old and her husband James Murray were left heartbroken in 2009 when their daughter Ella-Jayne passed away at just eight months old.

Ella-Jayne had been born with Rubinstein-Taybi syndrome, which is characterised by short stature, learning difficulties which can vary in severity, and can also include heart and kidney defects.

And speaking to the Daily Mail, Sarah admitted their loss almost tore their marriage apart.

She said: “Such an incredible loss inevitably puts an enormous strain on a relationship because people grieve in different ways.

“It would take the most emotionally mature people to be able to cope in that situation, and to comfort one another in the correct way.
“I can only say now, eight years later, that I’m not sure we were able to do that at the time.

“We have made mistakes and done things that don’t work for each other – and you either end up together, or you don’t.

“I think if we hadn’t created a charity, the Murray Parish Trust, in memory of our daughter, then things wouldn’t have worked out so well for us.”
