IF you’re an avid Broadchurch fan, ready to get excited – the TV crime drama will be returning to our screens in February.
ITV revealed the news on Twitter alongside an ominous video of those familiar cliffs, which fades from dark to day.
It shows some eerie words against the rock: “Here we suffered grief and pain. Here we meet to part again.”
The tweet reads: “It’s Back.#Broadchurch. February.”
Last week we revealed the first trailer for the new series which showed a glimpse of the chilling scenes to come.
David Tennant‘s character DI Alec Hardy is set to reunite with Olivia Colman‘s DS Ellie Miller for a final time on the memorable cliff-lined coast.
The new footage, released by US broadcaster BBC America, rushes through each of the characters as they look off into the distance in a series of dark-looking scenes.
